Yes. If they (or their management) ask us to remove all recordings for a specific performance - we do. If they ask us to stop posting a list of pulled dates - we do.

We may not like the decision (any decision to remove something from the collection is bad IMO), but we aren't exactly in a position to tell them this. Having anything here should always be considered a gift.

I think the Archive people are reading more antagonism into all the posts about pulled shows, then is actually there. I think very few people are blaming anyone, they are just trying to understand exactly what is going on.

In my case, I only have admiration for the great job being done by Archive staff.

As far as the specific point of this thread, it's not about the pulled shows, it's more about the dates disappearing entirely from the list. I don't see any commercial advantage to that - the page could be used as a pointer to a sales site, so it seems pointless.

I do understand you need to follow the directions of the artist's representatives.

Forgive me. We've had multiple heated threads about this in the past, my attempts to remind people of "perspective" are solely intended to avoid this since others may be reading today who didn't read the earlier threads. I didn't aim to patronize you.
